Lakes Breaks Bed and Breakfast, Lake King
Nancye and Dick
Perkins welcome you to their purpose-built bed and breakfast, Lakes
Breaks, in the Lake King township and invite you to share their peaceful
rural setting.
As well
as a convenient stopover, it is an ideal place to view spring wildflowers.
The area has a temperate climate, with a cool evening breeze in
summertime.
A simpler, more natural lifestyle
Lakes Breaks
is a great place to 'go bush' and live out the ideals of what it means to be
Australian; fresh air, space, wonderful sunrises and sunsets, clear skies to
view the stars - in other words a simpler, more natural lifestyle.
We have
lived and worked in the Lake King/Ravensthorpe area for over 35 years,
have a friendly manner and detailed knowledge of the local area, which we
would love to share with you. We will help you make the most of your stay.
Conveniently located 'at the crossroads'
Lakes Breaks
is ideally situated at the crossroads for a break in your travels -
Esperance 259 km, Perth 460 km. Hyden 123 km and east, through the Rabbit
Proof Fence, to Norseman 250 km and Cascades, or south to the coast at
Hopetoun.
Lake King
is a major grain growing region, the main crops being wheat, canola,
barley and lupins. Crops are harvested in early summer and delivered to
the many large, white CBH wheat bins throughout the area.
Cattle and sheep are also
raised, the cattle for meat and the sheep for both meat and wool. |
